The Lighthouse at Campus by the Sea was constructed in the early 1980’s. It quickly became the benchmark building for architectural style and capacity for the camp. The facility houses a full service kitchen, dining hall, conference rooms, offices, bathrooms, nursing station, staff lounge, storage areas, and laundry facility. It is a wonderful building that has served us well. Beginning in 2008, we would like to repair and upgrade the structure in the following ways:

• Repair the leaking roof and deck of the outdoor dining area.
• Install propane gas heaters and heavy roll down plastic walls in the outdoor dining area for cold winter months or cool summer evenings.
• Extend the deck near the laundry area to create an outdoor eating area to be used by our 50 summer staff in June, July, and August. This will free up congested space for families using the main dining areas.
