It all began at Purdue, Indiana University and the University of Illinois. In the Fall of 1991, while Mindy Meier was in Illinois, Ted McMullen and I started knocking on doors of fraternities and sororities in Indiana looking for students who were interested in something called a Bible study. The Hufford Challenge![]() 31 Purdue ATΩ’s attended Indy Greek Conference 2009, seven made decisions for Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The initiative for making this happen came from Purdue ATΩ alumni in partnering with a student House Ministry Leader (HML) and the Greek IV campus staff. The Monday following conference, at their chapter meeting, one of the 31 ATΩ’s that attended GC ‘09 stood up and made an appeal to his brothers. “I found God this weekend; please help me change my life.” I met Will on freshman move-in day at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity at Indiana University (IU). We were both about to embark on a new phase of life…college. I didn’t know it at the time, but over the next four years the Lord would work through Will to reveal Himself and the precious news of His gospel to me. He’d also completely transform my life and its trajectory.
