APRIL 5-11

April 5 - Today, Christians around the world celebrate Easter, marking the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Luke 24:5-6 tells us that the angels in the tomb exclaimed, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!” Praise God that Jesus is risen, indeed!
April 6 - Thousands of students participated in various spring break missions projects across the country. Pray that they will continue to boldly reach out with Christ’s love upon returning to their campuses.
April 7 - Nine students in Asian American InterVarsity at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville recently completed discipleship training. Thank God that 80 percent of chapter members will be in discipleship relationships. Pray for spiritual maturity and community to deepen as they learn.
April 8 - Pray for graduate students and faculty members on campuses in the Chicago, IL, area to be equipped to engage the whole university with the Gospel and take part in God‘s renewing work in academia as they participate with InterVarsity communities.
April 9 -Pray for Jeana Beno, campus staff member, as she plants new InterVarsity chapters in Delaware.
April 10 - Ask God to use members of Greek InterVarsity at the University of Connecticut in Storrs to bring about change as they host campus diversity programs. Pray that students would respond as God calls them to take risks for the Gospel.
April 11 - Students from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, participate in a regional multiethnic conference today and tomorrow. Pray for them as they study Scripture, worship, and discover how their unique identities can serve the kingdom of God.
