August 3 - Today through August 8, faculty members attend the West Coast Faculty Conference at Campus by the Sea, an InterVarsity retreat and training center on Catalina Island, off the coast of California. Pray for participants as they learn together.
August 4 - Pray for students to seek God’s vision for InterVarsity at Connecticut College in New London as they start the semester and both begin new friendships with other students as well as deepen their relationships with Jesus.
August 5 - Ask God to motivate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as they consider leadership positions for this fall within their campus fellowships.
August 6 - Pray that strong Christians will join Graduate & Faculty Ministries staff in the Mid-Atlantic region. Ask the Lord to encourage graduate students as they reach out with Christ’s love on campuses in Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, MD; Newark, DE; and Philadelphia, PA.
August 7 - Deb Hanson, faculty advisor at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, is helping to replant InterVarsity on campus. Pray for students’ hearts to be open to the Gospel and for friendships to form as they work together to build community.
August 8 - Members of the International Student Ministry chapter at West Virginia University in Morgantown are preparing to welcome students from around the world as they begin arriving on campus next week. Pray for students to be receptive to their assistance and friendship.
August 9 - Pray for InterVarsity staff and students to courageously share the Gospel and reach out to new freshmen, and then invite them into their witnessing communities on campuses in the Florida Bay area.
