August 9 - Praise God for staff member Adam Leong, who is planting a new chapter at Lincoln University, a historically black university in Jefferson City, Missouri. Pray for God to draw more students to Christ through this chapter.
August 10 - Pray for staff member Kathy McCready as she transitions from Graduate and Faculty Ministries in Milwaukee to ministry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pray for Kathy and her family as they move and build relationships in their new city.
August 11 - Praise God for the excitement about ministry at The Juilliard School in New York City. Pray that this momentum continues. Ask the Lord to give wisdom to staff member Tim Craig as he plans for the fall.
August 12 - Pray that the more than 70 student leaders who in May attended Summit, the New England region’s leadership conference, will start missional small groups on their campuses in the fall.
August 13 - Ask God to give Bonnie Ward wisdom as she starts her new position as regional coordinator for InterVarsity’s International Student Ministry. Pray that God would use Bonnie, so that more international students might hear the gospel.
August 14 - Pray for the two students from Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan, who this fall will begin an InterVarsity small group on their campus, where there is currently no active ministry.
August 15 - Ask God to give wisdom to the 12 new student leaders of the Texas Gospel Fellowship InterVarsity chapter at the University of Texas—Austin as they plan for the next school year.
