October 4 - Pray for wisdom for InterVarsity’s Board of Trustees and its Discernment and Search Task Force as they interview candidates for InterVarsity’s next president. Thank God for providing and sustaining Jim Lundgren as interim president.
October 5 - Pray that God would use InterVarsity at the University of South Carolina in Columbia to draw students into a relationship with Jesus. Pray for the chapter’s Fall Retreat this month and especially that freshmen would attend and connect with the community.
October 6 - Praise God for the replant of the InterVarsity chapter at the University of Wisconsin—La Crosse! Pray that God would use the efforts of staff member Justin Weber to gather missional students and grow the chapter to 20 core students.
October 7 - Pray that God would grow a witnessing community of artists at Western Michigan University. Ask him to bless the Arts Ministry there and to give student leaders courage as they invite their peers to consider how faith and art intersect through small group Bible studies.
October 8 - The InterVarsity chapter at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology is co-sponsoring events on campus with other student organizations. Pray that God would use these relationships across clubs to draw more students to himself this year.
October 9 - Pray for InterVarsity staff member Chris Loesser as he reaches out to athletes at the College of New Jersey. Ask God to give him wisdom and to provide many connections with new student athletes.
October 10 - Praise God for InterVarsity staff member Hilary Davis and for the ways she is serving Native students in the Boston area. Pray that the Lord would give her wisdom as she begins planting Native Ministry chapters in the New England area.
