  • What is the purpose of this event?
  • relationship-building

    training, discipleship, etc.

  • How does it fit into the goals of the ministry and the overall plan for the school year?
  •

  • How does each aspect of the event contribute toward fulfilling its purpose?
  •

  • To what degree is the event owned, planned and carried out by student leaders?
  •

  • To what degree does the event take into account the gifts, likes and needs of internationals in its:
  • publicity

    timing

    program

    duration

    location

    transportation

    food

    childcare

  • Is the event announced sufficiently in advance to give students several weeks to make up their minds and invite others?
  •

  • Is it sufficiently student- owned to generate word-of-mouth publicity?
  •

  • If there is a speaker, how adequately has this person been briefed on the language level, religious backgrounds and cultural characteristics of the audience?
  •

  • Have songs and media tools been previewed for linguistic and cultural appropriateness?
  •
