Here is a series of Bible studies on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, originally authored by an InterVarsity staff, William M. York, Jr (published by InterVarsity Press 1972, now out of print). The author of "How Will They Hear?," Dick Daeschner, is a pastor who adapted these studies for international students from the original set of Inter Varsity Press studies.

 

Dick Daeschner of International Students Inc. (ISI) found that these studies were very useful in helping international student seekers understand the Gospel and in discipling new believers in Jesus Christ. He began revising the material for use specifically with internationals and has continued to revise the material as new things are learned to make it more effective.

 

In 1998, ISI published this series as the booklet, "How Will They Hear?" (ISI, 1998, 72 page paperback). This booklet included not only questions on the essentials of the Gospel from various passages of scripture, but also extensive notes for leaders of small groups.
