Discipleship books for Chinese Christians

After we follow Jesus, we find out that we need to daily "de-clutter" (clean up) ungodly thoughts and concepts, unlearn the unbiblical philosophy learned in school, and replace these things with Godly characteristics and practices.

Untitled Document

Based on the need of daily de-cluttering and reminding, here are three effective study books in Chinese for small groups that all require daily homework. The Sunday School Board of Southern Baptist Convention published the first two books.

1. Experiencing God--Knowing and Doing the Will of God, by Henry Blackaby and Claude King. It has 265 pages. It has been in the list of the top three best-sellers for years. It clearly expresses God’s calling for revival and awakening. There have been life-changing testimonies from friends about this book. ... Click here for the details:

2. Fresh Encounter, by Henry Blackaby and Claude King. The Chinese version was published in 2000. 187 pages. This is a book on deepening and reviving Christians' spiritual lives by throwing away the "clutter" which took God's position in our hearts. There are 6 units on revival, and each unit contains 5-day lessons for students to study and answer the questions. The six units include: The pattern of revival and spiritual awakening from the Bible and history, God is determined to redeem the lost generation, the rebellion of God's people, God's discipline, God calling for His people to repent, and God revives repented people. List US$12.95 now sale at US$11.00

3. Everyone Reads the Book of John, by Stella Wong. It has 48 pages and is US$3.00 each. Sister Stella has successfully led non-believers of different education backgrounds to study the book of John. As a veteran of the International Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), she follows the BSF pattern to design questions from a simple level to a profound level and provide the Scripture references. Students need to do the homework first before they attend the group discussion. From all the questions of the 23 lessons we see the God-given wisdom of the author leading people to Christ. Even people without any Bible knowledge can enjoy the discussion. This is a wonderful Bible study guidebook for groups of new believers and non-believers.

The sale prices on these books will end on March 31, 2002. Just reply with your shipping address and phone number if you want to order any. Reply to:
