This article is designed to help those wanting to lead a group Bible study among international students. It was originally a handout for a seminar on this subject given by Dr. Archie A. MacKinney to a North American Conference of the Association of Christians Ministering To Internationals (ACMI) during the 1980s.

The first page was written in the year 2002 by Dr. MacKinney as an update to the original 8 page document. Dr. MacKinney was (then) a practicing Hematologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI (now retired).

During his entire 50+ years on campus he has led an outreach to international students via a group of Inter Varsity graduates, graduate and undergraduate students and local Madison community people. They have shared the love of Jesus Christ with international students through monthly dinners, Bible studies, personal friendship and numerous activities.
