Do Jesus and the Christian gospel message affect our lives? Ken Myers of Mars Hill Audio spoke to a group of nearly 150 students at Vanderbilt University and challenged them to recognize that Christ and the Christian worldview do change every aspect of our lives.
Myers’ shared that biblical Christianity is not just a set of insights and techniques to enhance one’s spirituality, but a way of living that encompasses our whole lives. Christianity is not solely about “Jesus and me,” but about all of human life, including history, beauty, human nature, and love. Biblical Christianity offers an account of human nature and how Christians can think and act in ways that reflect their commitment to following Jesus.
Many undergraduates who attended Ken’s lecture felt that he helped them understand how Christian scholars can live out their Christian faith. InterVarsity helps students apply their faith in Christ to their decisions and in their lives.
