The InterVarsity students at North Carolina State University in Raleigh assembled a “Hard Questions Panel” of five faculty members to respond to students queries about Christianity. During the course of the evening, questions were raised concerning evolution, cloning, abortion, forgiveness, the reliability of Scriptures, and the evidence for the resurrection. Feed back was very positive, including one Chinese student who appreciated hearing from a Chinese professor who had grown up reading the same atheist textbooks she had. Hearing that he decided to follow Jesus was a great encouragement to her. The evening also helped develop the relationship between the chapter and the Christian faculty on campus.
