Sisters in Christ

At Furman University in Greenville, SC, Stacy and Jessi meet in the crowded food court to discuss ways of presenting the Gospel of Christ within their campus community. Stacy and Jessi are leading the Greek InterVarsity chapter together— Stacy serving as President; Jessi as Vice President. Both women are juniors, love the Lord deeply, and want their sorority sisters to know Jesus Christ.

Anna Boriack, InterVarsity staff at Furman University says, “Currently, around six students are involved with Greek InterVarsity. These students are working together to reach Greeks who would typically never attend a Christian meeting.”

One of the recent events was a Super Bowl party, where InterVarsity students wanted to share Jesus’ love and show Greek students that Christ is relevant to their lives.

Students from Furman University, as well as other east coast schools, were excited about the Greek Conference, that was held for the second time in Charlotte February 18-20. Students studied three main themes throughout the weekend: Who I am in Christ, in life, and in reality.
