Thanks for stopping by the Student Leadership journal section of InterVarsity's web site. For nearly 18 years, "SLJ" was an award-winning magazine for Christian student leaders on college and university campuses — a toolbox full of ideas and help. Student Leadership journal is no longer in print.

A little history
His magazine was InterVarsity's monthly student publication for many years, starting in the 1940s. In the late 1980s, its name was changed to U magazine. Unable to remain financially viable, it was replaced in 1988 by Student Leadership journal, a quarterly journal intended primarily for InterVarsity student leaders. Student Leadership journal is now archived on the Web for issues from about 1997 on (with a few articles from 1994-96).

You are currently browsing the most recent SLJ site, with issues from Spring 2001 on. The original site, with material before the issues on this site (1997-2000 and some earler strays) is at www.intervarsity.org/slj/index.html. (Note: the final "index.html" is necessary to distinguish it from this newer site.)
