Lendol Calder

Lendol Calder is Chair of the History Department at Augustana College (Ill.) and the author of Financing the American Dream: A Cultural History of Consumer Credit. He lives in Rock Island, Ill., with his wife and two children. If prayer is “paying attention to God,” he admits he’s not very good at it.
