Andrew came to faith in Jesus Christ through InterVarsity’s ministry at Duke University. His long walk to faith demonstrates the power of prayer: when he became a follower of Jesus Christ five years after college, he heard from hundreds of InterVarsity students, friends and churches who had continued to pray for him long after he had graduated.
Andrew joined InterVarsity in 2010, and serves as Vice President and Director of Advancement. His previous roles have been in marketing, strategy, and general management in healthcare, including Vice President of Marketing for LabCorp and a number of leadership and strategy roles for SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline). He has lived and worked in the U.S. and Europe, and has led teams on six continents.
Andrew graduated from Duke University with a B. A. in Political Science and a Genetics Certificate. He also studied at Emmanuel College at Cambridge. His wife Marnie is a reading education expert and performs research to teach struggling readers in the poorest, most rural school systems in America. They moved from North Carolina to Madison, Wisconsin with their three daughters.
