April 17 - Pray for InterVarsity chapters at schools where campus access remains an issue. Pray especially for Greg Jao, our vice president of campus engagement—that as he meets with university leaders he would effectively communicate the value of InterVarsity’s ministry.
April 18 - At Washington University in St. Louis, MO, several key student leaders in their Graduate & Faculty Ministries chapter are graduating. Pray for strength for the rising student leaders who will take on new responsibilities.
April 19 - InterVarsity Press has a new publisher -- Jeff Crosby. Please pray for wisdom and direction for Jeff as he begins this new work, as well as grace and blessing for Bob Fryling as he retires after many years of faithfully serving with InterVarsity and IVP.
April 20 - Pray that the Lord provides new prayer and financial partners for InterVarsity’s New York City Urban Program (NYCUP). Ask God to pour out his resources in abundance so that NYCUP may continue to serve students and the community.
April 21 - The InterVarsity chapter at the University of Michigan–Flint has planted 15 new small groups on three separate campuses. Pray for the groups that are still looking for core members, and ask the Lord to help these groups reach out to dorm residents with effectiveness and joy.
April 22 - Ask God to strengthen and encourage Jenna Stromberger, a campus staff member at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, as she works with student leaders. Specifically pray that she would shepherd these students, and that their large group meetings would be a place where the hope of Jesus is clearly proclaimed.
April 23 - Hannah Dessel is planting an InterVarsity Arts Ministry chapter at the University of Utah. Pray that God would grow the core group of students to seven by the end of the semester, and that five students would commit to attending the annual Chapter Camp at InterVarsity’s Campus by the Sea on Catalina Island in California.
