August 31 - Pray for students returning from Global Urban Treks to integrate their service experiences into their daily lives on campus. Also ask the Holy Spirit to guide participants as they live out commitments regarding long-term ministry in international slum communities.
September 1 - Over the summer more than 1,400 students attended Chapter Focus Weeks at Cedar Campus, an InterVarsity retreat and training center in Michigan. Praise God that 29 participants made decisions to accept Jesus Christ into their lives.
September 2 - Give thanks to God for the new InterVarsity chapters in Massachusetts: Western New England University, Worcester State University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
September 3 - Julie Golingan, InterVarsity campus intern, is planting an InterVarsity chapter at San Joaquin Delta College, a community college in Stockton, CA. Pray for students to develop deep relationships with Christ as they shape their fellowship.
September 4 - Ask God to draw students closer to Jesus through Hui Poly, an ethnic-specific InterVarsity chapter on the University of Hawai‘i campuses at Manoa and Hilo. Pray for participants to integrate their Christian faith with their Pacific Islander culture.
September 5 - InterVarsity students from Hamilton College in Clinton and Colgate University in Hamilton, both in New York, are planning New Student Outreach events and are inviting freshmen into their chapters. Pray that these campuses become places for newcomers to meet Jesus.
September 6 - InterVarsity Link staff are returning after serving students overseas for various lengths of time. Ask God to provide them space to rest, reflect on their ministry, and debrief their experiences while readjusting to American culture.
