6 Students from the Blue Ridge region attend chapter camp this week, engaging in small group leaders’ training. Pray for participants as they study Scripture and prepare to lead over 100 small groups and serve nearly 1,000 students this fall on campuses.
7 Non-Christian students from campuses in the New York/New Jersey region, along with other InterVarsity students, are attending Basileia, regional chapter camp, this month. Pray for them to discover the truth of Jesus Christ in Scripture and invite Him into their lives.
8 Over 200 students from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska campuses will gather May 18-19 for Catalyst, InterVarsity’s year-end student camp. Pray for participants to gain a deeper understanding of InterVarsity’s mission and that non-Christians decide to follow Jesus.
9 Pray for students at the University of Maine in Farmington to discover the reality of Jesus as they study the Bible for the first time.
10 Seniors from colleges and universities across the nation are preparing for graduation. Pray that these new InterVarsity alumni will find nurturing church communities and remain connected to InterVarsity’s ministry through prayer and financial partnership.
11 Students from campuses in California are participating in summer missions projects locally in urban Fresno, globally in Bosnia in Eastern Europe, and along the U.S./Mexico border. Pray for boldness as they share Christ’s love through service.
12 Students from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania attend Chapter Focus Week today through May 18 at Cedar Campus. Pray that students strengthen friendships with one another, and in the fall return ready to engage their campuses with the Gospel.
