Area Ministry Director - Western PA

InterVarsity is seeking an Area Ministry Director for Western PA, to establish and advance witnessing communities in a largely unreached geography that includes urban, industrial areas and small remote towns. There are approximately 30 campuses in Western PA with little to no intentional Christian witness. Will you help us change that?

The Area Ministry Director will recruit, train, and supervise Campus Staff Ministers and Volunteers, provide support for chapters where we do not yet have staff, and prepare to plant new chapters on campuses where none currently exist. This person will work in partnership with colleagues as a member of the Regional Leadership team to advance the overall work in the geography and will contribute to the development of a regional culture that genuinely values and engages alumni and volunteers.

Successful candidates should enjoy leading collaboratively, show visionary leadership, networking capabilities in the community, possess the ability to  coach and train campus staff and volunteers and must have excellent cross-cultural skills. See the full position description for a complete list of the responsibilities and qualifications of the role.
