Florida International University is a top-tier research institution in South Florida. FIU is ranked among the 10 largest universities in the nation, and its various campuses host a richly diverse student body: 61% Hispanic, 15% White Non-Hispanic, 13% Black, 4% Asian or Pacific Islander, 7% other minority groups.  FIU is Miami’s first and only public research institution.

Description: The position of Campus Staff with InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries (GFM) offers opportunities to work among a vibrant and diverse group of graduate students and faculty. InterVarsity encourages the formation of small and large fellowship communities that are concerned with spiritual formation, outreach and service, and the integration of faith and learning through biblical reflection.

Requirements: Christian maturity, personal initiative and leadership abilities within a broad theological grounding. Academic degrees beyond a Bachelor’s degree and theological degrees are desired but not required. Personal and professional opportunities are provided for development. All staff are expected to raise their ministry budget and will receive training in Ministry Partnership Development.
