InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries (GFM) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Campus Staff Minister (CSM) to serve the graduate student and faculty population at Georgia Tech. This large and diverse public institution, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a leading research university in the United States committed to improving the human condition through advanced science and technology. Georgia Tech has many nationally recognized programs, all top ranked by peers and publications alike, and is ranked in the nation’s top 10 public universities by U.S. News and World Report.
InterVarsity is looking for a mature campus staff leader who has a track record of mentoring young men and women into leadership teams, possesses strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with graduate students, faculty and university administrators, and shows initiative and ability to develop and execute strategies that will build the overall campus fellowship.
In addition to investing in students and faculty, GFM campus staff members have regular opportunities to exercise their teaching gifts and further develop their leadership skills. We prefer someone with academic work beyond a bachelor’s degree. Having a technical degree and some theological education will be a great asset. All staff will be required to raise their full ministry budget and will receive training in Ministry Partnership Development.
