Campus Staff Minister - Longwood University

Longwood University is a mid-size public university in Farmville, VA. The students largely come from the surrounding rural towns or Richmond, VA, which is only an hour away. The vision of InterVarsity at Longwood is to be a real, transformative and multi-ethnic community centered on Jesus. There is also potential for a Campus Staff Minister to re-start ministry at Hampden-Sydney College, a small men’s liberal arts college in town.

A Campus Staff Minister must be gifted in developing confidence and skill in student leaders, training students as witnesses and ministering cross-culturally. All staff are expected to raise their ministry budget and will receive training and supervision to this end. Past involvement or at least familiarity with InterVarsity is strongly preferred.  Full-time is preferred, but part-time is a possibility.
