Campus Staff Minister - Norfolk State University

Norfolk State University is a mid-size public Historically Black University (HBCU) in Norfolk, VA. The students tend to be either local to the area or from out of state, typically further north. There was most recently a chapter from 2010-2017 and the position is now for planting.

A Campus Staff Minister must be gifted in gathering and connecting with new students and interacting with campus administration as a planter without a chapter president. The CSM must also be gifted in developing confidence and skill in student leaders, training students as witnesses to their peers. All staff are expected to raise their ministry budget and will receive training and supervision to this end. Past involvement or at least familiarity with InterVarsity is strongly preferred. Position can be either full or part-time.
