Campus Staff Minister - Northeastern University

This could be your chance to reach out to the future leaders of the US and the world in a great university city. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries (GFM) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Campus Staff Member to serve the graduate student and faculty population at Northeastern University.

This large and diverse private institution is ranked in the top 50 universities in the US with many students from around the world and is famous for building internships into the curriculum (called co-ops). With over 4,000 graduate students and professional students and over 700 faculty the campus is rich with opportunities to plant and grow InterVarsity’s ministry to graduate students and faculty. You can play a part in spiritually shaping the students and faculty who are shaping our world.

InterVarsity is looking for candidates with passion for bringing the Good News of the Gospel to the academy, through building witnessing communities of graduate students and faculty who work to worship God as they study and live for Jesus in the world. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who loves to learn. This person should have prior Christian leadership experience with outstanding interpersonal skills and a willingness to raise personal ministry support. An advanced degree is considered an asset.

The next Northeastern GFM staff will meet regularly with both the Harvard and Boston GFM teams, assist in creating and implementing Boston-wide programs and raise personal and ministry funds.
