Campus Staff Minister - Southern Utah University

Southern Utah University is a growing university in Cedar City, Utah.  The campus currently has 10,000+ students and a variety of academic majors.  InterVarsity has been at SUU for almost a decade and is currently the only Christian ministry at SUU.

The chapter at SUU is in a replanting phase but has a small student leadership team and students in the leadership pipeline.  Small group Bible studies and student discipleship are at the heart of the ministry at SUU. There is strong church and community support for InterVarsity and a strong alumni base.

The campus staff at SUU will oversee the development of the leadership pipeline and the growth of the ministry. This person must be willing to love Mormons and ex-Mormons, be humble and willing to learn how to do ministry in a unique context, and be comfortable being a religious minority.

All staff are expected to raise their ministry budget and will receive training and supervision to this end. Full-time is preferred, but part-time is a possibility.
