Campus Staff Minister - SUNY Buffalo

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is seeking campus staff to work with graduate students and faculty at the State University of New York at Buffalo, helping them to follow Jesus as they become future culture-makers around the world.

SUNY Buffalo is a premier, research-intensive public university with a significant global reach. It is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide and is one of the most internationalized universities in the U.S. 58% of the 30,000 students currently studying at SUNY Buffalo are international students from over 130 countries around the world with 230,000 alumni in over 150 countries. Men and women from nearly every country are funneling through SUNY Buffalo into positions of leadership and influence all around the world. SUNY Buffalo is having a global impact.

The SUNY Buffalo Graduate Christian Fellowship currently has 15 students and spouses engaged in weekly prayer, scripture study and service. Several churches and an intentional Christian community are supportive partners as well. 

The preferred candidate for this position has a track record of mentoring independent-thinking women and men into leadership teams, shows initiative and ability to develop and execute strategies that engage the diversity of SUNY Buffalo, and possesses strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with graduate students, faculty, university administrators, and campus ministry partners at UB.  Theological and/or advanced degrees are considered an asset.
