Campus Staff Minister - University of Oregon

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries (GFM) isseeking a qualified candidate for the position of Campus Staff Member to establish and advance a recently planted community of graduate students and faculty at the University of Oregon in Eugene. Committed to faithfully following Jesus in every area of life the graduate students and faculty already involved desire to share their pursuit of whole life stewardship with others.

Nestled in the heart of Eugene, a town famous for its diversity of thought and numerous outdoor opportunities, UO is the flagship University of Oregon. It serves nearly 3,000 graduate students in over 80 graduate and professional programs.

A qualified candidate will have a strong desire to give expression to GFM’s four core commitments. S/he will be able to articulate their love for Jesus Christ, the University, and the city of Eugene. S/he will be passionate about developing Christ-like community and the integration faith and learning. The preferred candidate will have a proven track record of mentoring independent-thinking women and men into leadership teams. S/he will demonstrate strength of character, personal initiative, interpersonal skills, an ability to lead, learn, and self-manage. Theological education and/or advanced degrees are considered an asset. All staff are expected to raise a ministry budget and will receive training in Ministry Partnership Development.
