Campus Staff Minister - USC Health Sciences Campus

University of Southern California’s Health Science campus (HSC) is a rapidly developing 79-acre campus located 3 miles from downtown LA, a focal point for 1,200 grad students and 1,500 full-time faculty in health-related fields of study. With an emphasis on underserved populations in LA's urban core, HSC is situated among 3 major teaching hospitals that annually serve 1.5 million patients and generate $230 million in research. USC's Keck School of Medicine is the oldest medical school in Southern California and takes pride in its history of innovation. Keck was the first medical school to provide real world experience in patient care during their students’ first year. Keck is home to 24 research-oriented and clinical academic programs and was ranked #33 in research by U.S. News & World Report's 2017 "Best Graduate Schools" rankings.

USC is located 7 miles from USC’s main campus, providing a focused concentration of healthcare grad students and faculty while still proudly contributing to USC’s Trojan family. HSC is located near the neighborhoods of East LA, home to innovative Christian ministries such as Homeboy Industries in Boyle Heights and LA Christian Health Center on Skid Row. HSC’s location and network provides many opportunities for learning and societal engagement.
