Campus Staff Minister - Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech is a public university located in Blacksburg, VA. The school culture is largely influenced by the engineering programs and school spirit around athletics.

InterVarsity has a long history of ministry at VT. The vision of InterVarsity at VT is "Due to the transforming grace of the Gospel, we are striving to be a united, multi-ethnic community seeking to know God and make Him known on all corners of campus." The ministry is small group driven with a strong discipleship culture and a community that loves to have fun together.

A Campus Staff Minister must be gifted in developing student leaders, empowering students as witnesses on campus and willingness to engage in the spiritual discipline of play with students. All staff are expected to fundraise their ministry budget from personal and community networks and will receive training and supervision to this end. Past involvement or at least familiarity with InterVarsity is strongly preferred.
