Campus Staff Minister - Whitman College

Whitman College is a small, private, liberal arts college in Walla Walla, WA. The campus has a high-achieving academic culture combined with a strong sense of campus community that attracts students from across the country.

InterVarsity has a long history at Whitman College and a strong alumni base. InterVarsity is currently the only evangelical Christian club on campus, and campus administration is supportive of nurturing a diverse spiritual environment for students. Historically, the ministry is driven by small group bible studies in residence halls and student leaders who serve for multiple years.

A Campus Staff Minister must be gifted in developing high-capacity student leaders, ministering cross-culturally, empowering students as witnesses on campus, and partnering well with campus administrators and professors. All staff are expected to raise their ministry budget and will receive training and supervision to this end. Full-time is preferred, but part-time is a possibility. Contact Donan Nealon (donan.nealon@intervarsity.org) with questions and/or for application materials.
