Campus Staff - Spartanburg

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in South Carolina is seeking a Campus Staff Minister to establish witnessing communities of students in Spartanburg (these campuses include Spartanburg Community College, Wofford College, USC Upstate, and Converse College). There isn’t currently an InterVarsity presence on any campus in the area, but we have some partnerships with local churches. A Campus Staff Minister would need to be gifted in ministry planting, student outreach, developing new leaders and ministering cross-culturally. We especially need someone willing to partner with local churches that we already have a relationship with. Past involvement or at least familiarity with InterVarsity strongly preferred.

The ideal Campus Staff Minister would live in or near Spartanburg and would need to be self-motivated and creative. The hours of this position are flexible and the staff would be expected to raise financial support for their ministry budget from individuals and local churches in partnership with the Area Director.
