This could be your opportunity to shape the development of ministry to/with faculty in Southern Wisconsin! InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries is looking for a growing follower of Jesus Christ with vision for ministry in the academy and a heart to serve those who serve in the academic context.

Southern Wisconsin context:

  • Home to various campuses of the University of Wisconsin. The campus in Madison is the “anchor” campus.
  • Milwaukee is an educational hub, hosting two major schools: the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University.
  • Faculty groups currently meet at three UW campuses. A network of faculty meet at Marquette University.

This opportunity will include networking with participants, helping to shape strategy and programs, developing a core leadership team, and experiencing the dynamism of campus ministry in a first-hand way.

Requirements:

  • A deep appreciation for and understanding of faculty, academic staff, administrators and the academy
  • Post-baccalaureate education (graduate degree preferred)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to help organize, support, encourage and extend hospitality to a diverse range of people
