Professional students approach their studies with intensity as they strive for a high level of academics. Someone who values this same ethic will enjoy working with students studying Law, Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and other disciplines as they grow in faith together. This will be an opportunity to plant something new. We are looking for someone with a high degree of competence to help professional students pursue their faith while pursuing a high intensity degree. The person in this position will enjoy digging deeply into the Word of God and helping students answer important questions about faith and vocation.

Typically, Purdue has over 4,000 International graduate students thus there is an opportunity to impact the world for Christ
InterVarsity has a graduate student chapter at Purdue with 40-50 participants. The person hired for this position will have an experienced colleague to learn from.

Requirements

A deep appreciation for and understanding of faculty, academic staff, administrators and the academy
Post-baccalaureate education (graduate degree preferred)
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to help organize, support, encourage & extend hospitality to a diverse range of people
