Christianity, a White Religion?

Henry Lee, an Asian American Ministry Coordinator for InterVarsity, led a discussion on the biblical basis of ethnic and cultural diversity with students at The School of the Art Institute-Chicago, IL. “No one ethnicity or race represents the whole entire image of God, therefore Christianity is not just a White religion,” Henry said. Students investigated the cultural history of Christianity and looked at God’s intention and delight in diversity, reading Scripture passages from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation. These artists were greatly encouraged to understand their artistic vocations in the light of God the Creator creating them.
