Throughout the past summer, students at the University of West Florida in Pensacola have studied the Book of Genesis during a weekly small group.
Alex, one of the members of the Bible study, enjoys the friendship and encouragement he receives from the rest of the students in the group. “Small group gives us a place to grow and become a family. The group has been crucial in the way God has developed me as a person and will continue to mold me into the man he wants me to be.”
Megan, another student active in the group, said, “Small group has helped me in many ways. Just reading the Bible together and sharing our insights is a great way to get to know each other in a spiritual way. The things I love most about small group are the applications we discussed and how we need to think about our lives and try to live them in a more Christ-like way.”
Students hope that as they invite new students to join their Bible studies on campus this fall, many non-Christians will come to know the love of Jesus Christ.
