Mission to Mexico

Twelve InterVarsity students from the northwestern United States will spend seven weeks in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico this summer, where they will help local churches organize and teach Vacation Bible School. These students do not speak Spanish and will be staying with local families who speak little English. Nevertheless, the students anticipate that deep relationships will develop with their Mexican hosts. By the end of their time in Mexico, the students will have a better understanding of another culture and the greatness of God in his love for all people.
