Campus Staff Minister - Arizona State University

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries (GFM) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Campus Staff Member at Arizona State University in Tempe who will establish and advance a community of graduate and faculty committed to giving expression to GFM’s fourcore commitments while faithfully following Jesus in every area of life.

One of the fastest growing universities in the county, Arizona State University serves over 16,000 graduate and professional students and boasts over 380 masters and doctoral programs, concentrations and certificates. “ASU’s graduate degrees rank among ‘best in the nation’ in U.S. News & World Report’s annual list (2015) of best graduate schools for law, education, business, public affairs, fine arts, earth sciences and more.”

A qualified candidate will be able to articulate her/his love for Jesus Christ and the University. S/he will be passionate about developing Christ-like community and the integration of faith and learning. The preferredcandidate will have a proven track record of mentoring independent-thinking women and men into leadership teams. S/he will demonstrate strength of character, personal initiative, interpersonal skills, an ability to lead, learn, and self-manage. Theological education and/or advanced degrees are considered an asset. All staff are expected to raise a ministry budget and will receive training in Ministry Partnership Development.
