Faking It (Large Group Series)

We are all prone to “faking” something – pretending we’re happy when we’re not, pretending we know more than we do; we fake emotions and we fake behaviors. Especially now that we’re literally wearing masks all day.

But God calls us to be real with him and with other people.

“Faking It” is a three-part series of online large groups to help students start the year inspired by a vision for authentic Chrisitan community, empowered to pray for their non-Christian friends, and an opportunity for all to respond to Jesus in new faith.

This series is based on “the Fake Campaign” an interactive Evangelistic display that has been used on hundreds of campuses to spark spiritual conversations. The series also connects with InterVarsity’s national new student outreach campaign, “Here for You.”

For each week, you’ll find a short video message, a customizable agenda with recommended roles for leaders, and a powerpoint.
