International Opportunities

InterVarsity primarily ministers to students and faculty on college and university campuses in the US, but there are a number of ministry opportunities that can include international travel, friendships and partnerships with people and organizations from around the world. As InterVarsity/USA is a founding member of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES), which includes more than 150 national student movements, there are also numerous opportunities abroad. Below is a list of places to start your search.

International Student Ministry

InterVarsity ISM ministers to international students and scholars studying at US colleges and universities through ISM campus groups and events like the Urbana 18 Global Students Track, but additional staff are needed. Connect on their Facebook page and find many ISM resources on the website and InterVarsity Store.

Global Programs

Global Programs are international spring break and summer ministry experiences where students encounter the kingdom of God, meet the global church, and serve around the world.

Global Urban Trek

The Global Urban Trek immerses students in urban slums for seven weeks, discerning whether God is calling them to long-term service alongside the urban poor.

Urbana

InterVarsity's next triennial Student Missions Conference, will be held December 27-31, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri. Since 1946, God has used Urbana to challenge more than 300,000 participants with their responsibility and privilege in global missions.
