I remember walking into my first Bible study with InterVarsity. I sat down in a dorm study lounge with about 8 people I had never met. Turns out I was one of the only extroverts in a room full of quiet introverts. At first the conversation felt SO awkward. But what we were doing as we went through the book of Romans was so compelling. Reading scripture together that way opened my eyes to this whole new world of discovering God in this exciting new way. So I kept coming back, week after week, and God was using that space to really draw me to himself. That summer I gave my life completely to Him, and eventually doing ministry with InterVarsity became basically a second major for me! God used InterVarsity so much to grow my understanding of Him, my faith, and the role I play in this world as a follower of Jesus. I'm truly changed forever because of him and because He placed this community of faith on my campus and in my life.
