January 1 - Pray that God will encourage InterVarsity students at Radford University in Virginia and give them enthusiasm for meaningful relationships, spiritual growth, and God’s Word over the spring semester.
January 2 - At the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, pray that God will help InterVarsity staff ministers bring together a core group of Christian international students who can take part in reaching other internationals with the good news of Christ.
January 3 - More than 1,600 InterVarsity staff are gathering today through January 7 for our triennial National Staff Conference. Pray that this would be a time of learning through the Scriptures, connecting with one another, and focusing on all that God is doing in and through the ministry of InterVarsity.
January 4 - Pray for InterVarsity staff ministers at Mendocino College in Ukiah, California, as they seek God’s will for the ministry. Ask the Lord to make their next steps clear and to open doors to new opportunities on campus.
January 5 - Praise God for the 55 students who last semester made first-time commitments to Jesus at California State University, Fullerton! Pray that he would continue to bless InterVarsity’s evangelistic ministry on campus and lead many more students to faith in Christ this year.
January 6 - Trevor Agatsuma is an InterVarsity staff minister with New York University’s Multiethnic Fellowship. Pray for Trevor to serve with humility and wisdom, and ask God to help him build a core group of missional student leaders.
January 7 - Ask the Lord to guide Katie and Patrick Mentzer, staff ministers at Fairmont State University in West Virginia, as they begin to reach out to new networks in sororities and among freshman women.
