JANUARY 27-FEBRUARY 2

 

  • 27 - The University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania has recently established new InterVarsity chapters reaching undergraduates, Asian Americans, and African Americans. Please pray for God to encourage students as they step into leadership positions.
  • 28 - Pray for students involved in various ministries at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to develop strong community with one another, discover the truth of God’s Word through Bible studies, and reach out to non-Christians on campus.
  • 29 - Pray for international students at North Dakota State University in Fargo to accept Jesus into their lives. Also ask God to develop in students’ hearts a desire to reach the nations with the good news of Jesus Christ.
  • 30 - Brazilian Christian students have begun a Wednesday night Bible study for international students at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Pray that participants submit their lives to Jesus Christ as they discover the truth of Scripture within InterVarsity small groups.
  • 31 - Members of the Information Technology Services team serve all staff from our National Service Center in Madison, WI. Ask the Lord for guidance as they resolve computer problems and assist in the development of websites for departments throughout InterVarsity.
  • 1 - Students from campuses throughout the New England  region travel today to Toah Nipi, an InterVarsity retreat center in New Hampshire, to participate in a weekend retreat. Pray for participants to grow spiritually through Scripture study and worship.
  • 2 - Over 100 student leaders from campuses throughout New York gather today for Winter Summit, a leadership training retreat. Pray that they would ask God to help them apply what they are learning about leading small groups and engaging non-Christians in Gospel conversations.
