JUNE 5-11

June 5 - Jacky, a California State University, Long Beach, student, is starting Greek InterVarsity among fraternities on campus. Ask the Lord to transform Greek students and houses by the Gospel.
June 6 - Ask God to bring healing and release to the many students across the country struggling with issues of mental health. Pray especially for students at Columbus State University in Georgia, and pray that the InterVarsity chapter there would be a place of peace for hurting students.
June 7 - At Stanford University, pray that students ministered to by InterVarsity’s Natalie Lu would have soft hearts to hear and respond to the Good News. Ask God to open their eyes to their need for him.
June 8 - God richly blessed the new outreaches this year for InterVarsity’s International Student Ministry chapter at the University of Memphis. Pray that connections with local churches and momentum with students would continue through the summer and into the fall.
June 9 - David Paladino, an area director in the Great Lakes East region, is returning from sabbatical. Pray that the leadership handoff would go smoothly and that he would quickly get back into the rhythms of ministry.
June 10 - Thank the Lord for Bob Fryling, who on June 30 retires from 30 years of service as InterVarsity Press publisher and InterVarsity vice president. Praise God for the appointment of Jeff Crosby in that role, beginning July 1.
June 11 - Two InterVarsity staff members are transitioning out of ministry at the University of Southern California. Pray that Brian Chung, the remaining campus staff, would be given energy and wisdom for his larger workload.
