May 1 - Over this semester, InterVarsity students planted four brand new Bible studies at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Pray that God would use these Bible studies to lay a strong foundation for spiritual growth and Scripture engagement among the students who attend.
May 2 - Pray for the students in Ashley Hamburger’s ministry at South Dakota State University in Brookings—that they would know the goodness of Christ’s authority in their lives and be quick to obey God’s Word.
May 3 - Kyle and Danielle VanEtten are concluding an exciting year of ministry in Durham at the University of New Hampshire. Thank God for the growing number of non-Christian participants this year, and pray that they would make a commitment to follow him with their lives.
May 4 - At California’s Claremont Colleges, pray for Jen Bosley and the current leadership team as they select student leaders for next year. Ask the Lord to give them wisdom in selecting the right candidates to lead.
May 5 - Praise God for the work he is doing building a solid InterVarsity student chapter through Lily Maxwell’s ministry at Valencia College in Orlando, FL! Pray that God will also move powerfully among faculty and university staff, strengthening Christian professors in their faith and drawing unbelievers to Christ.
May 6 - Justin Tibbels is transitioning from campus staff member at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, into a new role as area director in south Philadelphia. Pray for a smooth handoff of responsibilities at Johns Hopkins, and ask for the Lord’s blessing as Justin steps into new ministry opportunities.
May 7 - Campus staff member Kevin Reifman leads a men’s Bible study at California State University, Fresno. Pray that God would deepen each participant’s relationship with the Lord and grow their desire to follow him.
