For over 70 years, the Urbana Student Missions Conference has called thousands of students to surrender their whole lives to God’s global mission.
Darren, student at Pasadena City College in California, struggled with his faith. But at Urbana 22, the Lord spoke to him clearly: I know the pain you went through, and you are not alone.
The next thing he knew, Darren was standing, waving a white flag, surrendering his whole life to Jesus. He felt anxiety, inadequacy, and condemnation immediately dissipate. After that, Darren committed to pursuing a relationship with the Lord and welcoming others into community so they could do the same. He is now considering a vocation in ministry or missions.
Besides being thankful for Jesus saving me, I’m so thankful that I was able to go to bigger purpose for me living in this world.
