October 9 - Praise God for the work he is doing at community colleges in California’s Orange County. Pray that InterVarsity students and staff members would continue advancing the kingdom of God among students and faculty who need the Gospel.
October 10 - Athletes InterVarsity is hosting a leadership and training course this week for staff working with athletes. Pray that those who attend would be developed in biblical leadership and deep personal discipleship and that they would intentionally model these practices for their student athletes.
October 11 - Pray for growth in the chapter at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington as two new InterVarsity ministry interns, Noel Kochheiser and Chris Sanders, begin their roles there.
October 12 - In the last year students and staff have been excited about reaching out to Idaho State University. Ask God to send staff to plant there and at nearby campuses that have no InterVarsity ministries and in some cases no Christian ministries.
October 13 - Praise God for equipping and calling staff member Liz Kidney into her new role as the New York/New Jersey regional new staff trainer. Pray for clarity for Liz and her team as she transitions into this position.
October 14 - Graduate & Faculty Ministries staff member Jerry Romasco is working with several new graduate student groups at the University of Southern California. Ask God to provide strong student leaders as they try to plant new ministries.
October 15 - Pray that the six InterVarsity small groups at Wake Forest University in North Carolina would become communities where students would understand the Scriptures, invest in deep, Gospel-centered relationships, and lead others to Jesus.
