Jim Lundgren has served on InterVarsity Christian Fellowship staff for over thirty years. During those years he has been a Campus Staff Member (University of Wisconsin, Madison and Whitewater), Area Director (Wisconsin and Metro Chicago/Northern Illinois), Divisional Director (Metro Chicago and Indiana), and Regional Director (Great Lakes West). As Collegiate Ministries Director, Jim works with the National Field Directors to lead InterVarsity’s ministry with students and faculty in all fifty states. Jim received his B. S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and an M. A. R. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. While Regional Director for twenty plus years, the Great Lakes West Region grew steadily with significant expansion in ministry with Asian Americans, Graduate Students, Greeks and Roman Catholics. He co-directed Marketplace ’86, InterVarsity's conference on marketplace ministry. Jim serves on the Board of Directors of Overflow Ministries (focused on developing leaders in racial reconciliation) and the General Council of Latin America Mission. He loves (to his great sadness all too often) the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He enjoys reading in the areas of history, leadership development and The Bible Speaks Today series from InterVarsity Press. back
