April 10-16

April 10 - Thank God for the InterVarsity chapters in the San Diego area as they look to plant 100 new small groups throughout North County. Ask the Lord to empower students to be bold in inviting people to join and in making disciples of those who attend.

April 11 - Today and tomorrow, Maria Finkbiner, a staff member in the Pacific region, is co-directing Mixed 2016, a regional conference for biracial and mixed students. Pray that the conference would encourage those students who are exploring their multiethnic identities.

April 12 - Praise the Lord for his overwhelming answers to prayer in the International Student Ministry chapter at Gainesville’s University of Florida. God has been faithful to answer consistent petitions for this group—join us in thanking him.

April 13 - At the University of South Carolina, pray for students to have compassion and boldness in sharing the Gospel with their non-Christian friends. Pray also for student interest at Columbia College as staff member Adam Salloum explores planting a new chapter there.

April 14 - Pray that the InterVarsity chapter at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, would be a place of honest conversation about multiethnicity and celebration of racial diversity. Pray that students would grow as ambassadors of Jesus who value others in their unique ethnic identities.

April 15 - Pray that 10–12 students from Shaw University and St. Augustine’s University, both in Raleigh, NC, will attend and be transformed by Rockbridge Chapter Camp 2016, and that God will make them into visionary leaders for the next school year.

April 16 - Teresa Rutt is challenging her chapter at Oakland Community College in Bloomfield Hills, MI, to have a greater evangelistic emphasis in their small groups. Pray that students would continue to respond to her vision by inviting other students to follow Jesus.
