JANUARY 3-9

January 3 - Join us in praising God for the life-changing experiences he provided for more than 15,000 students at Urbana 15, InterVarsity’s triennial student missions conference which ended on New Year’s Day. Pray especially that God would confirm his will for students who committed to serving the Lord in missions.
January 4 - At Aurora University near Chicago, 14 students are participating in an evangelistic Bible study. Pray that the Gospel would be communicated effectively and that all would accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
January 5 - God is starting something new among athletes at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. Pray for their outreach efforts, that this Athletes InterVarsity chapter plant would take root and grow into a strong and stable community on campus.
January 6 - Twenty-four students in the chapter on California’s Oakland University campus are attending small group leaders training. Pray for the Lord to equip these student leaders with the skills and maturity to lead others in studying God’s word.
January 7 - These are important days after Urbana 15 for our International Student Ministry team. Pray for the follow-up process with those students who feel called to ministry with international students on campus.
January 8 - Numbers of US college and university campuses have experienced racial tensions over the previous semester. Pray for understanding, healthy changes, peace, and unity to prevail among students, faculty, and administrators. Also pray that InterVarsity chapters would extend God’s love to all students.
January 9 - At Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, two students have started a ministry among unreached South Asian students. Seven non-Christians responded and are studying John 3 together. Pray that God would reveal himself to them and that they would come to know Jesus.
